BSNL Revises its Broadband Plans, Now Offering 2 Mbps Speed Post FUP

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), has announced increase of post FUP speed in all its broadband plans above Rs. 675. Earlier, the company used to offer speed of 1 Mbps post FUP, but now it has changed to 2 Mbps.

Starting with the BBG Combo ULD 675 plan, which gives up to 5 Mbps download speed till 5GB. Post the FUP data, the speed was capped to 1 Mbps, but now it’s modified to 2 Mbps for rest of the month. The BBG ULD 795 plan offers 10GB high-speed data per month, and 1 Mbps unlimited data beyond the FUP. However, it now gives 2 Mbps download speed after the completion of FUP.

The company has also increased pre-FUP data limit in almost all its broadband plans. All broadband plans were modified above Rs. 675 and added with more data offering. The changes with more data offering is already active across the country.

The company which is available in most of the parts of the country is preparing for the broadband war coming up in few days. BSNL is also increasing its FTTH (Fiber to the Home) availability in all major parts of the country, which can enable the company to come up with higher speed plans in coming future.
