The second largest telecom operator Vodafone adds up a new feature for its data pack users to check their internet speed from the telecom provider app itself “My Vodafone”. With selfcare app now users can check data connection speed and track network. It will enhance customer experience and will help to improve network quality.

The British telecom giant is now about to cross 20 crore subscribers mark with stiff competion from Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio. Vodafone was known for its superior 2G network to provide connectivity but as the competition goes on prices are falling for 4G devices and Reliance Jio now provide free unlimited voice calling across India. Vodafone now lags on data front as they are far behind third largest telecom operator Idea and merged-entity RCom-Aircel.

Vodafone is working to bind its high paying customers by improving network, better customer service. With the speedtest app users can know the speed they are getting on their network and company can be benefitted by knowing and solving network and speed issues.

As Airtel has ‘Open Network’ for live network tracking and connection speed and strength, Vodafone and Reliance Jio is also working to implement and launch final versions of its network tracking portals. Reliance Jio initially tested its beta version and is working to implement final version for the same.

We think by ensuring network and data issues every telecom company is benefitted along with its customers and makes a way for great customer experience and better network quality.
