iPhone 7: New Apple phone will have 256GB of storage

Reports suggest that the upcoming new iPhone 7 (likely) will include 256 GB variant, for those who face storage capacity problems. As alongside Apple likely to introduce base storage option of 32 GB, by letting go of 16 GB as sometimes space is scarce for entertainment to go on.

This step might solve major storage complaints by its users, as photos, music and videos take a lot of storage on iPhone’s. As the company added features like 4K  video and Live photos, and they really take huge space on the iPhone. So, with this storage up gradation much-needed will not run out of storage very quickly.

Previously, the company used to advise to use their iCloud feature, so you don’t run out of storage on your iPhone as most space is grabbed by music and photos and by using iCloud this used to get stored on Apple servers.

According to reports the company will now offer the upcoming iPhone 7 in 32 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. But it remains unconfirmed that it will be provided in iPhone 7 or plus variant with bigger screen size.

Apple first introduced 16 GB variant in iPhone in 2008, as that was pretty good at that point of time. Unfortunately, this is not the case now. The company might ditch the 64 GB variant altogether by replacing it with 128 GB variant.

If users shoot Ultra-high Definition footage for 45 minutes from the base variant 16 GB, the storage will be completely filled. Also, with this upgradations iCloud can be put to other good uses.
