Samsung Galaxy On8 launched at Rs. 15,900

Samsung unveiled new smartphone in India- Galaxy On8, features 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and 16-GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot).

It comes with a 13.3MP rear snapper with f/1.9 aperture, autofocus and LED flash and 5MP at the front withf/1.9 aperture and LED flash. The smartphone measures 151.7x76x7.8mm, weighs 169 grams and is just 7.8mm thick  . The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and supports dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, and is backed with a 3300mAH battery.

Modes like wide selfie and beauty face feature are supported by camera software. The smartphone is priced at Rs 15,900 and will be available in Gold, Black and White colour options. It will go on sale on October 2 on Flipkart as a part of its Big Billion Days sale.

Samsung had recently launched Galaxy A9 Pro, Galaxy J5 Prime and J7 Prime in India. With On8, Samsung is basically extending its online-only offerings. The Galaxy On8 will also come with features like UDS (Ultra Data Saving) mode and S bike mode as part of the company’s “Make for India” initiatives.
