Airtel 4G launched in Gujarat, Airtel 4G services now available across 17 circles in India

Bharti Airtel launched 4G services in Gujarat with an initial rollout in Ahmedabad. With today’s launch Airtel is now offering 4G services across 17 circles. Customers can access 4G services in smartphones, dongles, through prepaid and postpaid plans.

The high-speed telecom services by Sunil Mittal-driven operator would be available over the spectrum in the 1800 MHz (FD-LTE) band, Airtel said in a statement.

To use the new technology users need to swap their SIM cards for enjoying 4G services which is available as a free upgrade by the company. With a recharge of Rs. 249, new 4G handset users will get additional 9 GB of free data along with 1 GB. To claim additional free 9 GB data users need to send an SMS “4G Offer” to 52141.
