BSNL and Vodafone Sign 2G Intra-Circle Roaming Pact

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Vodafone, signed an agreement today for 2G Intra-circle roaming to use each other’s assets that will ensure both providers have better connectivity in all areas leading to better customer great customer experience.

This pact will ensure Vodafone 2G network is reached to rural areas with the help of BSNL that has more coverage in rural areas and BSNL can also reach to urban people providing a better network with Vodafone. BSNL has over 1,14,000 towers in the country whereas Vodafone has over 1,37,000 towers.

Mr. Anupam Shrivastava, Chairman & Managing Director, BSNL said, “We continue to expand our network across the country with more sites and sharing infrastructure with other telecom service providers. This partnering with Vodafone will help us make our network coverage better, especially in urban areas, enabling our customers to have a better experience of our services.”
